			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The past two weeks I&#8217;ve been riddled with knee pain on my left leg, and I limped and avoided the gym for a good week before the pain subsided.</p>
<p>My knee joints seem to be swollen or inflamed or there could be a water sac lodged in an unfortunate spot. Fortunately, I&#8217;m doing better and can walk and I&#8217;m on track with my jogging goals. I still have a nagging dull pain, and I may need to see my doc or take joint medicine. Haven&#8217;t decided which one is more cost-effective.</p>
<p>This past Saturday, I had a great jog and ran at 6.5 mph for a good 5 minutes.</p>
<p>Jogged: 6 mi<br />
Walked: 1 mi<br />
Distance: 7 mi<br />
Cals Burned: 1,200<br />
Time: 95:00</p>
<p>Today, Sunday, I ran a little more casually taking breaks every 2.5 mi to avoid further knee complications. I watched <em>The Truman Show</em> on TBS, I really like that movie&#8230;</p>

Walked: 1.15 mi<br />
Distance: 8.65 mi<br />
Cals burned: 1,300<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Skipped days 6-8 due to slight case of influenza and mother nature.  I talked to the running coach at my gym about how hard it&#8217;s been to keep the pace, being scared I won&#8217;t be able to make it to race day. She brought up a couple of great pointers, a few of which I already knew, like bouts of hard running so you condition your body to relax at a jogging pace.</p>
<p>Browsing the internet I came across a <a title="new toy" href="http://www.trails.com/googlemap.aspx">new toy</a>. Once the weather gets better I can run around my neighborhood. I&#8217;ve made a 5.5 mile trail that bound to help me get used to running outdoors.</p>
